Kingston Brighton condo or Crescent Shores

I was wondering if anyone could give me some pros and cons of both Kingston Plantation Oceanfront condos or an oceanfront condo at Crescent Shores. I have narrowed it down to these two and can%26#39;t decide. It will be just my husband I and we plan on golfing, relaxing and maybe hitting a couple of night clubs and probably eating out every night. The units are both very nice with wonderful views but about a $400.00 difference. Also if someone could let me know where I could find a map of the Myrtle Beach area that lists hotels, restaurants. Can%26#39;t seem to find a good one!

Thanks!

Crescent Shores is very nice!

I%26#39;m not as familiar with Crescent Shores as I am with the Kingston..guess it really depends on what you are looking for in your vacation. Kingston is more of a resort, whereas Crescent Shores is more like a large condo building. The Kingston has a few dining and entertainment options there at the complex, and a few more places to check out within a short drive.

As far as a map that would list hotels and restaurants...I dont think one exists! Strange isnt it? Maybe because of the multitude of places that would need to be listed?? Who knows...I really like the route maps on our bus systems website

www.golymo.com

or another local tourist publication

www.strandmagazine.com

a good restaurant site that is in the process of getting a restaurant map together is

www.myrtlebeachrestaurants.com

Hope all this helps! Have a wonderful time! :)

Thank you so much for your replies. I will check out the listed web sites. Do you have any other oceanfront condos you would suggest. Any hotels that are geared more for couples versus families?

A few you may look into would be Ocean Forest (www.vrbo.com) or depending on when you are planning your trip a place that looks fantastic and reopens in May is Sea Island Resort (www.seaislandatthebeach.com). Ocean Forest does have a few amenities (pool, restaurant/bar, etc) whereas Sea Island is more of a full service resort. Another place that is really nice is Southwind Villas but there is a bit of oceanfront construction going on there....hope this helps! :)
