TakeOut Seafood

Can anyone recommend a good restaruant for takeout seafood? I have read some posts about restaruants that seem to be more for dining in. Thanks!

TakeOut Seafood

Most dine in restaurants in the area will do call ahead takeout...Bonefish is a good option for that....

Landry%26#39;s is another good option. Also had Broiled Scallops wrapped in bacon from Southern Market that were very good.

Villa Mare has Pasta Lucia (shrimp, spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes over linguini) which is a great takeout item.

Here%26#39;s another option if you are willing. There are 2 seafood stores on Sea Mountain Hwy as you are driving into Cherry Grove section of N. Myrtle. They have fresh fish, clams, and other seafood. If you are staying at a place w/ kitchen, you can sautee up some fish and steam some clams. Or if you have a grill, throw some fish on the grill. Nothing quite like fresh fish and seafood. I can%26#39;t think of the names of the stores, but they are in the area of %26#39;Biscuit Shack%26#39; and %26#39;Tar Baby%26#39;s%26#39;.

Great suggestion, NCgator. Those stores are located on Sea Mountian Hwy (Cherry Grove) and they would be Berry%26#39;s Seafood and Platts%26#39;...both have a great variety, and will tell you how to cook anything they sell. Another option for fresh fish and shrimp (during season) would be Sessions Fruit and Veggie stand on 10th Ave N in Myrtle Beach. I love fresh steamed shrimp...nothing better!

Right...Eugene Platt%26#39;s. I believe both places will even prepare some of it for you if you ask. I%26#39;m sure there is a nominal fee, but they will steam, boil, shrimp, crabs, etc... We always get the clams and steam back at the condo. If you happen to swing by these places, ask what is local. Generally, it will be the flounder, snapper, and grouper, and definitely the shrimp, crabs, and clams.

Thanks for all the great suggestions!
