My boyfriend and I(mid-50%26#39;s couple) will be in Hilton Head March 23-27 on business. I%26#39;m looking for a romantic, great atmosphere, good food %26amp; wine restaurant. Have narrowed the choices to Old Fort Pub, Ocean Grill or CQ%26#39;s. Any suggestions? Also, we are staying at the Westin but have Sunday night available. Should we spend 1 night at the Inn at Palmetto Bluffs or remain at the Westin?
Many thanks.

The Inn at Palmetto Bluff is run by ';The Auberge';, a unique property on the west coast. It would be certainly worth the visit, but is quite costly.
Dinner in their ';Wine Cellar'; is a great experience.
As for your choice of restaurants.
All three are owned by the Lowry Group.
The Ocean Grill which is in Shelter Cove has a great view of the marina, and specializes in Seafood.
The Old Fort Pub is located in Hilton Head Plantation and has won all sorts of rewards, but I feel it is a bit pricey for what you get. It is situated next to the ruins of Fort Mitchell, a civil war era fort. There is a nice walking tour you can take, bofore or after dinner.
CQ%26#39;s is located in Harbourtown, Sea Pines. The house is one of the older ';Tabby'; construction style that used to be on many of the sea islands. It main charm is it%26#39;s interior. It is also reputed to house a ghost. The menu is noted for it%26#39;s game dishes. You can try venison, buffalo, or boar if it%26#39;s on the menu. Don%26#39;t worry they serve beef and fish also.
Right now, many islanders feel that the %26#39;Sage Room'; is the best restaurant on the island.

Dear Stan,
Thanks so much - I think I%26#39;m going to try the Wine Cellar and stay at the Westin for the entire time.
Looking forward to a great trip.
