Where to stay

Hi- we are planning a two family vacation in Myrtle Beach the last week in August. We are looking for a good location near activities for kids and adults. We are looking at Grande Shores and Hampton Inn (Celebrity Circle). Also what sites are a must while we are there? We will be driving in from Pennsylvania. Thanks for any suggestions and advice!

Where to stay

I do have some suggestions on things to do while visiting MB. The Ripley%26#39;s Aquarium is fantastic, shopping %26amp; dining at Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach. August is a nice time to visit MB and the water temp. is like bath water! Enjoy!

Where to stay

Both places are great...and depending if you want to be closer to the beach or activities would help you make the decision as to where you would want to stay. The Grande Shores is a great ocean front property ...I love the beach in this area. And the Hampton at Broadway is the best place to stay there at Broadway. The staff there are wonderful!

Ditto to the above post on some things to do with the kids...some other ideas would be Alligator Adventure at Barefoot (it really is neat!) I really like the Carolina Safari Jeep Tours --- kids like that too...and one of the ocean cruises -- really like the Dolphin Adventure Cruise (www.hurricanefleet.com) or the Jolly Rover out of Georgetown...some great programs at Huntington Beach State Park too...
