Hampton Inn %26amp; Suites Oceanfront is the best, CLEANEST hotel in MB! Read the reviews for this hotel. This particular Hampton is rated one of the top 5 Hampton Inns in the entire nation. A great breakfast plus free internet is included! The suites are beautiful and there you will meet some of the friendliest staff anywhere! A great thing about the Hampton chain is if you are not 100% satisfied you do not pay. I promise you will not be dissapointed!

My first question would be when in May? Just want you to be aware that we do have two motorcycle weeks in May. And for some that come to Myrtle Beach (or in this general area) during one of those events without knowing about them can be upsetting. We have the Harley Davidson Week beginning May 12 thru May 21, and Atlantic Beach Bike Fest is May 26 thru May 29th. Both are very popular and do draw a number of participants. With that being said, there is alot to see and do with both festivals. A number of vendors %26amp; events -- things that go along with ';festivals';.

As far as a ';5 star'; resort...the best ';rated'; properties that we have here at the beach are ';4 Diamond';. Those would be The Sheraton at the convention center, The Mariott at Grande Dunes and The Cypress Inn (a B%26amp;B) in Conway. Out of those 3, the only one oceanfront would be the Mariott. It%26#39;s a beatiful property located at the north end of Myrtle Beach. The beach there is one of my favorite areas...

The Hampton Inn Oceanfront is a really great property too. Just check out the reviews at the left. I%26#39;m not sure why they have never went after some type of diamond or star rating...I would think they would qualify! But either of those options I would think you would be happy with!

Hope all this helps! Have a great time! :)

Fairfield Ocean Boulevard or cheack out Crescent Shores, Avista or Ashworth on VRBO (all in NMB)

I can%26#39;t offer a hotel to stay but I can tell you Do Not...Do Not stay at Crown Reef South Beach. We went last weekend for 2 nights. The price was a little high for this time of year but from the outside this hotel looked nice. The carpet was so dirty we didn%26#39;t walk on the carpet without shoes. The bed sheets were clean so we stayed..but never again. The wallpaper was stained and peeling, the sofa was stained and holes in the cushions. The room smelled of smoke and was to be a non-smoking room. Towels were limited so we had to reuse the same towel the next day. Finally after 3:00 we received fresh towels.
