where to stay in myrtle beach-feedback

Thanks everyone who responded so quickly, on where to stay in M.B. As a result we have chosen Hampton Inn and suites. As I do not plan on getting a Harley any time soon, we are going first week of June,as to avoid the 2 weeks of bike week. That was great info thanks for the heads up!I hope that is an ok time. Which leads me to the next question, how is the traffic that time of year, in terms of getting to restaurants, shopping etc.

The first week of June is great! We have this wonderful festival -- in its 51st year! -- called Sun Fun Festival. Alot to do...check out the website:

www.sunfunfestival.com

Traffic wont be as bad then as it wouldve been if you came during one of the bike weeks! We do have times when traffic can be extra heavy...if it rains (gets everyone off the beach it seems!) and right about the dinner hour (say 5p to 6p) if you keep that in mind...you%26#39;ll be fine!

Check with the staff at the Hampton when you arrive ask for a local map..seems like if you know the area a bit, even with a bit of traffice it can be less stressful!

I think you will be happy with your choice of the Hampton...its a great property! Have fun! And check out the sandcastle competition at the Pavilion when your here! ;)
