I cannot remember if they sell it in grocery stores or seperate stores. Is it easy to find or should we bring some from home?
thanks
The only think I remember are the little bottles they used at the bars. I had not seen them anywere but on a airplane before.
Liqueur sales
I think they sell it in seperate stores.
Liqueur sales
Yes, there are seperate ABC stores for liquor. Beer and Wine is available in grocery stores.
And those little bottles....we dont have to use them anymore! Yea! South Carolina finally went to free pour, meaning we can use the regular size bottles that you see in most states!
Liquor is sold in seperate stores (ABC). Like MBC said, SC no longer uses the mini bottles. Beer and wine is sold in grocery stores and gas stations. Liquor stores are closed Sundays.
Are you serious , I hated those little bottles,I wasn%26#39;t going to get a drink out because of those. Yea to free pouring
Liquor stores are not only closed on Sundays, but they close at 7pm everyday of the week, and on some holidays. (that was a tough one to get used to!)
And yes, finally, they put it to a vote, and the folks of SC said it was about time you were able to get a decent drink in SC! Especially a REAL Margarita! Yea! Next, we%26#39;ll see if bar owners re-adjust their pricing of mixed drinks to reflect this change.
And, Ralphy57...just be aware that not all bar owners have decided to switch over to free-pour, its an option. Some bar owners feel that they wont have the same control over inventory, and that they may have some customers feel they are being ';cheated'; out of the proper amount of alcohol that should be used for their drink. Some bars are offering a mix bag...using both large bottles for some liquors and mini for the less used liquors.
I guess when we go out for drinks, I%26#39;ll ask if they use nippers of freepour.
