The Diplomat is around 6th Ave N right in Myrtle Beach...not to far at all from the Pavilion. They are pretty strict on renting only to families and married couples. Check out their website at www.the diplomatmotel.com

I wonder why there isn%26#39;t any reviews or info on The Diplomat here on Tripadvisor? Or am I missing it somewhere?

Good question. Dont know why that is. The Diplomat has been in Myrtle Beach for a LONG time. It is an older hotel (a mom and pop), she keeps it clean, not sure what condition the rooms are, but the outside is ok.
