Golf presentation for 28, any reccomendations ?

Hello, 28 of us are coming over from London and staying at Palmetto Dunes for 8 days in April, Would anybody Know of a restuarant(seperate room from the other diners preffered) that could accomodate 28 golfers on Thursday 27th for our presentation night inc%26#39; dinner. Does not have to be fancy, but allow for normal banter that you would expect from a group of golfers.

You might try contacting the Hilton Beach and Tennis Resort.They have banquet rooms of various sizes and I%26#39;m sure they would be able to accomodate your group.Also the HHB%26amp;T is about one mile from Palmetto Dunes. Good luck.

Both the Hilton Resort and the Marriott are located at Palmetto Dunes. they have function rooms which can be used for a private party.

As far as food is concerned, I think the Marriott has better catering than the Hilton.

Another possibility is using the function rooms that are adjacent to the Jones Course clubhouse, or the Palmetto Dunes Club which is across the road from the Fazio course. PD maintains a contract with a catering firm called ';Catering Concepts';. I have attended more than a few functions they have done. They provide very good service.

You would seem to be a local guy, would you know of any restaurants that could accomadate us. As in previous years we held our presentation in golf club houses, but they just do not have the same ambiance as a nice restaurant.

Alexanders which is listed here in the Restaurant section is also in Palmetto Dunes. You might call them ( the telephone number is listed ) and ask if you can reserve the Bar area. They do have a private room, but it is too small for your group.

Some others to look at are the Boathouse, Juleps, La Normandie, Ocean Grill, and Jaxx. They have areas that could be cordoned off for your group.
