Are there any other places on Kiawah besides the Sanctuary that are resort like for a wedding? We want a beautiful place and would love everyone in one place...we just do not want to spend $10 grand just to RENT the ballroom or have our guests spend over $500 a night on rooms. Any suggestions would be helpful! Thanks!
Wedding on Kiawah?The Sanctuary is the only hotel on Kiawah where all of your guests could stay in the same place. The only other choice would be to have the wedding at someplace such as the clubhouse at the River Course with your guests staying in villas, condos or rental houses. The closest villas to the River Course are located at Turtle Point and Turtle Cove, about 5 minutes away. Check with Kiawah Island Resort for availability of villa rentals. The River Course is owned by the Kiawah Island Club, so you could call the clubhouse directly.

Check with the Kiawah Island Golf Resort about wedding venues other than The Sanctuary Hotel. The golf clubhouse at Osprey Point is particularly beautiful.
Your guests could stay at villas, condos, and homes available through the Resort. The Resort provides on-island transportation for anyone renting through them.
