bach party in April
Hey there!
Well, you didnt say when your planning your trip, but a few options.
If you dont mind not being ocean front..a centrally located property is the Sheraton at the Convention Center. Its pretty much right between the ocean front and Broadway at the Beach (www.broadwayatthebeach.com) and not to far of a drive, taxi or limo to Masters Gentlemens Club or a number of other ';bach party bars'; in the Seaboard area. Another option would be to stay there right at Broadway at the Beach at say The Hampton Broadway, Fairfiled Inn or Holiday Inn Express Broadway.
If you prefer OF, then I would try The Breakers or The Camelot...cool ';start the party'; bar/restaurant close by - Bummz on the Beach.
A fun bar that a bit off the beaten path is Marti%26#39;s --- the lady that runs this place really makes it fun! Let her know that its a bachelor party and she%26#39;ll take it from there!

Thanks, we%26#39;re scheduled on coming in on march 30th, deep sea fishing on the morning of the 31st, hit the bars the evening of the 31st, then golfing on the morning of the 1st, catch the final 4 at a bar saturday evening, then head back on Sunday the 2nd...
Sounds like you got it all planed out! Are you fishing out of Calabash or Murrells Inlet? Thats a great trip! A great sports bar is 5 O%26#39;Clock somewhere...your own TV with a coach and fireplace! And a cocktail waitress.. They are at about 18th Ave N and Kings Hwy in MB.
I think you all would enjoy the Masters Club...it%26#39;s really a well run place. Check with the desk when you check in for passes (and if you call early you can arrange for their shuttle service).
I don%26#39;t know much about where to fish, so if you can recommend a good place, we%26#39;re interested
For fishing...I really like the Hurricane Fleet (www.hurricanefleet.com) out of the Calabash area which is just over the SC/NC state line. You can go out on one of the head boats (can be up to 60 people at times) or do a ';party boat'; which would just be your group, with your own captain and you can bring whatever you want on board..I%26#39;d do an all day, maybe head out to the gulfstream. The guys there are great! Ask for George White or Steve..they will even clean and pack what ever you catch for a nominal fee! Its a blast even if you dont fish! ;)
What%26#39;s your take on Capt%26#39; Dicks for fishing?

I%26#39;ve worked with both companies in booking fishing trips, and I just feel that the guys at Hurricane Fleet are a bit better when it comes to great customer service. And from a booking point of view, its nice that you get a thank you from a company for booking the trips (like a really great cheesecake at Christmas! Yum!)
As far as the boats, and the amount of fish you catch, I%26#39;m sure that it all comes out about the same...but if the crew and the captain aren%26#39;t into it, it can really make the trip miserable. Just my opinion...... :)
