Shipwatch Point is located in the Shore Drive area of Myrtle Beach. The condos are pretty nice...not quite as nice as Maisons, but not as pricey either. They are located right next door to an area called the ';straw market';...a few botique style shops, ice cream, and a small restaurant. Its maybe a block and a half to the beach...they have a pool there at the condos.

Youre not much farther to Apache Pier (restaurant and arcade there), and Ocean Annies and River City is at the other end of that area.

Two things about the Shore Drive area.

The Beach...great at low tide, however, if we have even a bit of higher than normal tide, no beach at high tide. And depending on when those tides happen...it can be a pretty packed beach!

The access to anywhere...only a few ways in and out of Shore Drive. Either Lake Arrowhead RD or Kings Road....both can be nightmares at certain times of the day. Especially Lake Arrowhead...traffic can back up at the light on Rt 17 forever! And if you use the Kings Road way out...make sure its not on a rainy day, as this road puts you out at a major shopping area...WALMART and Tanger Outlets! Yikes!

But other than that...its a nice area...I%26#39;ve had cousins stay in that area ever since they started coming down...wont stay anywhere else! And they LOVE Finn McCools! :)
