Looking clean condo or suite near barefoot

Will be in MB end of March. Looking for the cleanest place to stay with all the anemites and modern, not outdated. Also easy parking-truck will travel. So many times I have stayed somewhere you thought by web was clean current to find it is disapointing. Want this to be a very special trip.

Check out the Southwinds. Website is thesouthwind.com They are new (2004) and looks great. We will be staying there in about four weeks. Will write back and let you know. Looks upscale, with all the amenities we would want. Rooms looks big and beautiful, close to Barefoot Landing, I think.

Barefoot North Tower is very nice, behind Barefoot Landing. Nice view of the Intercoastal Waterway. I%26#39;ve stayed at and own a timeshare at Shore Crest Villas on the oceanfront directly across from Barefoot Landing. Both would be good choices. Look for timeshare rentals to save money at Shorecrest and several vacation rental sites by owner have condos at North Tower.

I really do like the area where Southwinds is located...beautiful property too! There is a bit of contruction going on two doors down on the Dunes Village project that will not be completed until Spring 2007, and hopefully soon they will finish up the Stormwater runoff project that is pretty much directly behind them on the beachfront.

Another place you may want to check out in that area is The Mariott at Grande Dunes (same general area) or the Forest Dunes. I%26#39;d also suggest the Sea Island, but they will not open until May.

All of those properties are actually closer to Broadway at the Beach than Barefoot Landing, but still not a bad drive to get there. Check out a few good websites for maps and info:

www.strandmagazine.com (local info)

Have fun!!! :)

Forest Dunes would be a good choice.Excellent views from the 6th floor on up.

Thanks to everyone for thier ideas and helping me out. I really appreciate you taking the time. God bless.....
